THE owners of a dog which attacked another dog and the person walking it on Abbey Golf Course is asked to get in touch with police. The incident took place on Tuesday at approximately noon. A young man who had been visiting family took the family’s small dog out for a walk when it was set upon by a Doberman. The dog walker managed to pull them apart but the Doberman then bit him on the hand and he needed to go to hospital for treatment. The owners of the Doberman are described as a tall, grey haired man wearing jeans and wellington boots and a woman wearing a red and white hat.
