A WOMAN was rescued from a caravan fire in Wythall on Sunday evening (January 31). Firefighters using breathing apparatus and a hose reel rescued the woman who was handed over to paramedics and ambulance personnel. She was treated at the scene for injuries before being transferred to the Alexandra Hospital by land ambulance for further treatment. Onlookers called Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service who sent crews from Redditch and Bromsgrove to the caravan fire at about 5.15pm.
